Racines des 2 musiciens: l'Afrique.

Mouss', à l'origine s'est plutôt nourri dans la musique afro-américaine, blues, soul, rythm and blues, jazz, mais au fils des années il a remonté la source retraversé le mer pour débarquer en Afrique.

Afrique du nord utilisant la culture de ses racines nord africaines, les sons, les instruments, les rythmes puis de descendre plus au sud, à travers le désert vers l'Afrique  de l'ouest, berceau du blues: lieu de rencontre avec Issouf Mounkoro, burkinabé.

C'est le métissage qui donne à l'union de ces deux artistes toute sa richesse, son audace, son authenticité: métissages des langues, métissage des sons, des parcours... Il y a une pureté dans leurs sons, leurs voix...Le mariage des instruments reste sobre, donnant à chacun sa valeur, sa liberté d'expression: oud, contrebasse, kora, n'goni, calbasse. Mais c'est dans l'union des deux voix que le blues dans toute sa richesse est le plus symbolisé: celle d'Issouf, très africaine, puissante pour les racines et celle de Mouss', plus rythm and blues, plus soul qui nous rappelle que cette musique à traversé l'océan.

Roots of the 2 musicians: Africa.

Originally Mouss's music his rather based  on the afro-american music;   blues, rythm and blues and jazz,  but over the years he went back up  his source and crossed again the sea to land in Africa.

Orginally from the north of africa ,he  uses the culture from his  roots.

Using sounds, instruments and rythms, he goes down more to to the south through the desert and towards the cradle of the blues: meeting place with Issouf Mounkoro from Burkina faso.

It's the mixture, which gives to this union of two artists all its wealth, all its authenticity : mixture of the languages,   the sounds, rythm....There is a pureness in their sound, their voices...The mix of the instruments remains sober, and gives to each one its value, a freedom of expression: oud, double bass,  kora, n'goni, calabash. But it's in the union of  their voices that the blues in all its wealth is symbolized the best.  Issouf's voice , very African symbol of the roots and  Mouss' voice, more rythm an' blues, more soul  takes us into a refreshing mingle of blues cultures .
